Season Opener

    Well Friday was quite the evening to say the least.  The night started off great with an awesome qualifying run, earning top spot with a 14.588.  The first heat race went pretty good with us getting a second place finish, and with a  couple more laps we would of definitely had 1st spot.  The second heat race was not as good, getting spun by the 5 car in the late going left us with a 7th place finish.  For the feature we started at the back because of the field being inverted from qualifying.  It started off good making it past the majority of the field in a short amount of time.  Then while running in second, we got a pretty viscous shot from the 77 car around lap 20 that did quite a bit of damage to the left hand side of the car.  Then around lap 35 we had a run in with the back straight wall that ended the night for us leaving us with a 7th place finish.
    We definitely did not have the outcome that we were hoping to have to start the season with, but will be back on the track for the race on the 30th and hope to see you all there.
