Cascar, guest driving

    Well we definitely had a better outing to the track this past weekend.  We started out a little slow qualifying 6th overall, but progressively got better as the evening went on.  In the heat race we didn't do as good as we hoped but got a fourth place.  By the time the feature came around we had it pretty much figured out.  As the first 60 lap segment started we slowly started working our way to the front pulling out a third place finish.  So for the second 60 lap segment we had to start at the back with an total invert of the field.  It was a little dicey getting around some the slower cars in front of us but once the dust settled we were in third and held that spot till about 10 laps to go.  Trent put on a late surge to pass the 94 car and hold down the second spot, with Dan Shirley finishing in first.
    Our next race is this Saturday May 30th for the WSSL Auto Parts Arca West 150.
