On Saturday night we competed in the WSSL auto parts Arca West 150. The day started off good, having the 3rd quickest time in the 1st practice session. As the day went on the wind got stronger and stronger and started to cover the track with a fine dust that was causing the track to become slippery. Once qualifying came around there was quite a few cars losing control and spinning out. We didn't spin out but qualified 12th. The feature started with 22 cars and we were on the 7th row on the outside. We cracked into the top ten fairly quickly, and then started to pick off cars slowly. Around lap 120 we found the #70 car in third place. With a slight mishap in turn one we lost one position and finished the race in fourth. All and all it was a very good race just not enough laps to try and push the leaders. Our next race is this coming Saturday.
