Welcome to our racing website.  The 2011 race season is upon us and all of us at Thunderbolt Racing are extremely excited.  It's been a long offseason and we have made some changes and updates to our car from last year and the goal for this season is WIN BOTH CHAMPIONSHIPS!!  We would like to thank all of our sponsors that are back on board for 2011, Propane Plus Automotive, Saskatoon Motor Products, Galon Insurance Brokers, Fabians Autobody,  Novatex Serigraphics,  Greenbryre Golf and Country Club, Chornoby Johnson  Barristers and Solicitors, Leo Morrison and Associates, LS Technologies, Magic 98.3, The Bolt Supply Warehouse, Praxair, and Prairie Pawnbrokers.  We had an up and down season last year getting used to the new chassis but by the end of the season we seemed to have it figured out and just need to see how we can improve on it for this year.

Speedway president is eager for a win

Winning hasn't been in fashion for Trent Seidel these last couple years.
Starting this weekend, however, he's hoping to buck that trend.

Year after year Seidel finds himself in the upper crust of the local point
standings at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway. Yet, since he assumed the president  position at the speedway in 2008, a spot at the standings summit has routinely eluded him.

Skelton front runner at Speedway Calgary racer wins first race in big series

There was mayhem around him, but that suited Chris Skelton fine.  In a race that featured frequent stops due to errant vehicles, Skelton stayed ahead of the pack for almost the entire way to claim the first leg in the Dakota Dunes Casino Western Canadian series Saturday at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway. The stock car drivers are in the Super Late Model class.  Click here for full article
